Background

The ecosystem marketplace is a unique, one-stop, information source about new markets that provide revenue through conservation and restoration. This comprehensive, free Web site will help companies, policy makers, researchers, community groups and individual landowners understand and participate in these new markets.

The ecosystem marketplace is organized into four main sections:

  • News and Editorial: Original and commissioned articles, features, profiles and editorials, along with a comprehensive set of links compiled from thousands of sources.
  • Marketwatch: Transaction information on commerce across land-related Carbon, Biodiversity, and Water markets. Activity related to government and NGO expenditures on conservation and restoration is also tracked.
  • Reference Library: A comprehensive collection of written materials relating to Ecosystem markets, including books and book reviews, reports and white papers, case studies and tutorials.
  • Resources: Including web-based tools, an organization directory, and a calendar of events.

Site visitors can subscribe to the Ecosystem Marketplace free monthly newsletter offering the latest news and resources.
